DONT MISS IT, FROM JUNE 19TH:

Fantastic Sea Monsters

For the first time in Canada

Temporary exhibition: June 19, 2010 to January 14, 2011

Musée du Fjord- Fantastic sea monsters

Giant squids and octopi, whales, narwhals, sharks, sea snakes, and leatherback turtles are fascinating creatures. Since the dawn of time we have observed and captured them in our lakes, seas… and the St. Lawrence River!

Thanks to a major production with photographs, ancient engravings, film clips, object and artwork collections, multimedia, and even an interactive videogame, discover animals who, because of their sheer size, strange shape, or baffling behaviour, are at the heart of so many myths and legends.

Discover Canada’s most spectacular and enigmatic legends! Loads of fun for one and all!

A Musée du Fjord production, in partnership with The Rooms (Newfoundland-Labrador), Maritime Museum of British Columbia, and Océanopolis (France).
